This research center is a part of a group of joint centers, so the logo must follow the guidelines that was set for the group.

Information about the CE2S2

The Center of Excellence for Earth and Space Science is a newly center of the Joint Centers of Excellence Program (JCEP), established in a partnership between King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology (KACST) and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). This scientific partnership focuses on collaboration between the Department of Geological and Astronomical Studies in Caltech and the Earth and Space Center in the Joint Centers of Excellence Program. The center will focus on developing satellite technologies and data interpretation capabilities to enhance our understanding and studying of the following key issues: earth crust deformations and tectonic movements, sand dunes movement and impacts, flood pools, and dynamics of groundwater reservoirs.
